      Personal History of Johannes Anderson written by him in Swedish and
      translated into English by Elaine Nelson, copy in possession of Howard Glenn
      Sallenbach.
      On May 4, 1865 he left Sweden with his wife Cecelia Neilson (Nilsson), the sister of his first wife; in a small sailing vessel. He arrived in Salt Lake in November. They traveled over the plains in the First company drove 4 yoke of oxen with 18 persons with the wagon. Moved to Farmington in April of 1868. Then moved to Millville, Cache County Utah in 1877.
      On April 10th, 1887, he left for Canada taking with him his wife Hannah, sons Edward 16, Jim 8, Sam 6, daughters Eliza 11, and Mary 2. His family traveled with The Thomas Leavitt family. They made the 700 mile trip and "alighted on the East side of Lees Creek on the 23rd of May 1887.
